All the Summer School Trainers have worked as developers and coaches of XP teams and are extremely knowledgeable about agile software development. They are regular attendees of London's Extreme Tuesday Club and have each chaired the XPDay conference over the past few years.

Rachel Davies is an agile coach and facilitator based in United Kingdom who works with teams learning how to improve their code quality with Test First and Refactoring. Steve Freeman is an independant consultant, and has worked in a wide range of situations from research to developing shrink-wrap software. He was a pioneer of the agile community in the UK and well known for his work on Mock Objects. He led a project that, briefly, was the largest XP project in the UK. Since then, he helped to introduce Agile methods at Thomson Financial, and worked for ThoughtWorks.
